...NWS Damage Survey for April 20, 2025 Tornado Event 1...

A NWS survey crew found evidence of a tornado that began in far
northern Pulaski county at highway 107 near Fourmile Hill. The 
tornado quickly moved northeast into far southeast Faulkner County
over Wilson Hill before continuing northeast into far northwest
Lonoke County at Ballard Rd, just south of Ballard Hill. Most of
the tornado's path was found to be in northwest Lonoke County and
the tornado dissipated just after it crossed into far southwest 
White County near the community of Opal near Highway 64. The
survey team found damage consistent with a strong EF-1 tornado,
with peak estimated winds of 105 mph. Most of the damage from
the tornado was done to trees with many uprooted trees found
along its path. Most of the damage to structures was found to be
associated with trees falling on the structures, however damage to
the roofs of structures was found due to tornado winds along the
tornado's path.
